Full Description

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking an Psychologist to provide mental health assessment and coaching for a private business in New York to help improve workplace accommodation and satisfaction. While it is a general population of employees who may access the service, you must have specific experience with a neuro-divergent population. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide mental health evaluation for client employees.
• Provide 3 session coaching and coping strategies for workplace challenge and stress.
• Utilize practical modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques and communication approach with managers, to help boost productivity and well-being.
• Design specialized program and accommodating strategies for client employees with neurodivergent conditions
• Refer patient for further treatment where necessary.
• Document findings and create evaluation report and supporting strategies for client HR.

Requirements:

• Doctorate in Psychology: Ph.D, Psy.D, or Ed.D
• Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Active Clinical Psychologist license to practice in NY.
  
• Experience working in a corporate environment preferred.
  
• Training and experience with coaching techniques.
• Experience with neurodiverse conditions and related workplace coping strategies.
• Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
