Job Description

VitalCheck Wellness is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Manager to work full time in a new outpatient clinic at a global wealth-management firm located in Atlanta, GA 30306.  The RN in this clinic will work with support from a Medical Assistant/Clinic Coordinator to support a physician and NP in a corporate health center while managing clinic operations and workflow policies and procedures. The nurse will work in a primary care, preventive care, and urgent care capacity. This role is ideal for someone who loves to implement new ideas while provide high quality patient care and patient education.

RN Clinical Responsibilities: 

  • Support physician and NP with patient care
  • Initial point of contact for patients, completing assessment and vital signs
  • Specimen collections including phlebotomy
  • Wound care and vaccine administration
  • Follow-up care coordination
  • Maintenance of emergency equipment

Clinic Operations & Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the clinic, including but not limited to: patient care delivery, inventory management, scheduling, policy & procedure implementation & management, and patient engagement (through educational content and events)
  • Facilitate weekly team with VitalCheck/clinic staff, including documenting minutes and communicating concerns of the team
  • Track and follow up on ongoing projects, coordinating deadlines, following up on action items, delegating tasks as appropriate
  • Manage/approve PTO and Sick leave requests for clinic staff using Gusto
  • Manage schedule and attendance using Homebase, ensure necessary coverage is arranged for team members on PTO
  • Point of contact for all PRN staff

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Valid RN license in GA.
  • Minimum 5-7 years nursing work experience in primary care setting.
  • BLS/ACLS certification.
  • Phlebotomy skills.
  • Highly organized; skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in technology including Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills, Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Takes the lead in complying with regulatory standards, rules and laws
  • Must be a self-starter who is confident in making recommendations on improving processes
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Desire to be part of the change in our current healthcare system.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Must be able to pass a background check
