Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 contract.
Pay Rate: $130/hr onsite patient care hours, $100/hr telemedicine lab review hours.
Schedule:
Copiague- 4/29.
Westbury- 4/30.

Full Description

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Nurse Practitioner to provide general wellness checkups on site at a private business in Copiague and Westbury, NY. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care (usually no more than 20 patients per day).

Responsibilities:

• Provide general wellness checkups.
• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns.
• Perform blood draws for patients.
• Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
• Provide telemedicine services for lab review follow-ups.

Requirements:

• Active clean Nurse Practitioner license to practice in New York.
• Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
• Advanced practice certification in dermatology (preferred).
• Minimum 3-5 years of direct dermatology experience following post graduate training.
• A collaborating physician is necessary unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.
• Must be fluent in Spanish.
• Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Patient education driven.
• Personal laptop or tablet required.
  
• Must be able to commute to Copiague and/ or Westbury, NY.
• Bonus point if you currently work in a private practice in network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
